Hi. Oh, I can guarantee people will want to try them on! People want to naturally see how it looks and fits. And you might get some who don’t ask; but will grab one and plop it on their head…ugh. Especially kids. A few things you can do. 1) Make a little sign by your hats that say, “Please Ask Before Trying On”, or “Please Ask First to Try On”. 2) Bring some plastic grocery store bags, and have each person put one on their head; so when they try on the hat, the hat is protected. 3) Use a natural spray hand sanitizer to lightly mist the inside cap portion of the hat, after it’s been tried on. I would absolutely stay away from a synthetically fragranced product, for those allergic and/or have chemical sensitivities. There’s a brand at the health food store that carries 2 ounce per size, with lavender essential oil in it, by EOS. Also, depending on where you live, if you’re in the US and have a Trader Joe’s near you, they make pretty much the exact same one, with their own label. Comes in lavender and grapefruit. 4) if someone starts walking over towards your hats, let them know before they even reach their hand out to pick one up, they are welcome to try them on; but they need to do XYZ first. I.E. Wear the baggie. Hope that helps. Have a great time at your first show and I hope you do really well! 😍

Hi Sparki! Love your "handle" name! Very cute. 🌸 There are two double crochet for every cross stitch. If working the same base as mine, you should have a total of 30 double crochet (15 cross stitches). If you increase to a larger size, as shown, then whatever stitch count you have after your last increase round, will be the same going forward. Hope that helps, and thank you for asking! I've since gotten into the habit of explaining that in each new tutorial. Cluster stitches are completely different, and I love those too!)

Hi. I'm really sorry the pattern didn't work out for you. I messaged you via Etsy, with another option. Frustrating enough for you, with all the time spent trying to figure it out. I know staggering the two increases on each side of center is unconventional; but that's what gives the smooth, curved shape, without visible points of increases. Maybe I could do a short video showing the placement again, with my camera panned out more, so you can see the full expanse. If you'd like to give it another try. When I have a block of time to go over the written pattern, I'll see what I can do to update the instructions. A chart is a great idea; but I'm not skilled enough with them, to create one. I do appreciate your input, and for letting me know. 💗

I was in Michael’s today. They had a few cakes of the newer colors that they didn’t have in yet. The online pics, at least on my screen, are very accurate, which is nice for a change! I did buy the Blue Orchid, and totally agree on the name. The blue mix, in the cake that I showed here, has more purple in it! 😂 But Blue Orchid still pretty, and leans more neutral to me. I’ve also wished for a white; since the blossom cakes were launched! 💕

I’m glad you’ve been fortunate without them. I almost didn’t film because of it, didn’t want to be a downer; but that’s life and I wanted to show what I made, since I had the time. I finished the shawl today! Even a bigger wow with the border. The colors played out so nicely. I’ll add a photo to my Etsy shop pattern pics. That handbag was probably a one and done. That yarn does have some slip, which helped. Itcwas fun to make, and I might try another using one strand this time. But to get the shape, it still needs to be tight, so I don’t know. Hi Candace. I wonder if you’re skipping over your beginning chain 3; since it can squish down and blend in with the dc next to it. That or maybe missing the last double crochet in the round. I hope that helps and you’re able to find the missing stitch. 💗

Oh sorry for misspelling your name. I’ll blame it on AutoCorrect! If you can’t find the missing stitch (or two), and want to continue with the pattern, one way to work around that is to add in those two missing double crochets, spaced apart halfway around from each other. Into stitches where you have only one double crochet, so they don’t get bunched up. I’m cheering you on; so you can make as many of these to your hearts content! 🥤
